App to MITS from Balnor

Post by Balnor on Sat Oct 18, 2014 1:25 am

In Game Account(s):

Balnor

Age:

51

Previous Clans and how long you spent in each:

I've spent 1-2 weeks in each of three clans: WolfBG, which spawned a new clan that I joined and found to be full of nice people, but too unfocused, and previous to that I was in VGA, I think it was, and found that the leader was rather mean and dominating to other, younger players while in training. Basically, these were the opposite experiences of too much or too little, and I'm looking for the "just right" that comes from a well organized clan, which this one appears to be, given its multilayered approach. Also, I'm interested in this clan due to the fact that I am still developing and therefore I can get in on a ground floor and move around to the right spot as things go, rather than feeling I personally need to lead the world or spend my time waiting for a clan to take shape, one way or t'other.

Reasons why you left those groups:

per above, ofc.

Do you know anyone in our Community? If yes, who?

Not as of yet, but I'm about to log into your TS to meet your online members.

Have you been on our TS previously?

Nope.

List your Tier 10 vehicles, as well as the damage per battle and Win % for each:

Just MITS, no Tx as of yet. I'll be rebuying my tier 9, T-54 eventually, but it was too costly to run while I needed to go back and gear up for tier 6's and 8's for clan gaming.

What Class of Tier 10 vehicles do you perform best in?

Although not a Tx player as of yet, I prefer mediums due to their versatility, but am happy in various roles.

Please insert an image (not a link) of your WotLabs.net signature (banner with stats):

How many days per week can you attend Clan Wars?

Once at that level, quite often.

What time zone do you currently reside in?

Central, NA.

What makes you want to join Gentleman Gaming?

Inclusive vertical structure and organization with politeness.

Do you have Previous Clan Wars experience? If yes, with who and in what role?

Nope, again, just looking to join the MITS wing.

What are your ambitions as a member?

I have my eyes on several Tier TEN lines. In general, I'd like to rise out of the public mindset at this stage of about 6k games before it sets in too deeply and advance to more cooperative schemes.

Tell us a little bit about yourself. What kind of a person are you?

I've spent years in the Help Desk and Training professions, and I grew up in Lake Geneva, WI, and worked at TSR, where we created Dungeons and Dragons, so I'm your traditional geek, but with a higher degree of sociability than most techies. I'm a tad bit too philosophical, but I'm also a combat veteran, Navy, Operation's Specialist, which would be command and control, so I'm also highly goal focused.

If you could be an animal, what would you be and why?:

I'd be a bunny. Isn't it obvious? I mean, they really go at whatever it is they're doing. Wink Yeah, OK, I'm a hedonist.

One of the Officers in our Community is an idiot. Who do you think it is?

Clever tricksters! I not only have no idea, but if I did, I'd assume that, since he's an officer, he must know he's an idiot and wear it proudly enough to regale everyone with his own character in such a manner he needn't have me going about explaining it to anyone who will listen. Darma free. No, wait, that's Buddhist. Or not Buddhist, to be exact. I mean, I'm drama free when I'm not street performing for my supper.

Hey, if this really is a gentleman's club, do I get a tophat to go with my bunny?

If we were any less than we are, what would set us apart from you, let alone all the run-of-mill clans?  From where we were, to where we are, the feedback from new members is the effort on the front end is welcomed.

That being the case, I'm very comfortable being weird.  rabbit rabbit

That was a lot of words.  All of them weird and discombobulated.
