Applying to BT -Braur

Post by Braur on Fri Jan 03, 2014 2:43 pm

Who recruited you?:

Made a post on forums about clans, was mainly interested in my old clan RUS or SIMP, but then thought, why the heck not? Sidonie.

Which Game(s) are you interested in taking part in?

(World of Tanks) Mainly clan wars, although I can do tank companies. Not really into tournaments though, but can try to see if I like

In Game Account(s):

Braur

Age:

20

Previous Clans:

Assassin, Legions of Iron, Rel-A, Rage, RUS, Rune, RuneX

Reasons why you left those groups:

Well, Assassin was my first fun clan in the game, but it disbanded. Went to join my friend in Leg, but they became inactive and didn't cooperate as a team well. Got into Rel-A due to my only 10 at the time being an Is-7, but some of the guys there were immature beyond humor so I decided I wouldn't want their community. Went to Rage and Rune to help my friend's clan with teaching newer players the game and basics so they could do cw. Rus, I liked, but had outside stuff to do so I had to dissapear from the game for a while and didn't want to take up room.

List your Tier 10 vehicles, as well as the damage per battle for each:

T110E5 (2,233)

E-100 (2,042) I really hate the E-100, I hate using gold soloing pubs and the gun trolls me too much with HEAT, low trajec always hits track spaced armor where HEAT is worst at, in other words, I want to sell

IS-7 (2,023) My first ten, never fired gold

Obj 268 (2,731)

E-50M (Unpurchased)

On T-54 and ST-I, both almost done. Got AMX AC 48 and RHM, grinding those as well.

If Gates could touch you anywhere, where would you let them touch you:

Well, the only place he would be touching me after I drop-kick him for assault is my feet, while listening to him sob & beg.

Link your WotLabs signature:

New members are not allowed to post external links or emails for 7 days. Please contact the forum administrator for more information.

If you could be an animal, what would you be and why?:

A tiger, I like being lethal, but not without stealth and finesse.

If Gates calls you in the middle of the night to discuss sexual fantasies, what do you do?:

Ask him if he prefers them raw or well-done.

What makes you want to join our Community?:

I want an active clan to do a lot of clan wars, which has experience working as one and is proven to achieve results.

Previous Clan Wars experience, and future clan wars activity?:

Haven't played too many, mostly following. Commanded one for Relic though, which was a 7 vs. 15 victory Smile  I should be active Eastern time 8-12. Can stay up to 2 am max if late battles require players. Going to be participating a lot as I would like that sexy Russian medium. Screw the US and German tanks, but a Russian who doesn't get a Russian tank -___-  *Shakes finger and spaces out in though*

The clan has to invest into every player that joins, what can you, the player, invest back into the clan?:

A million dollars? Probably not. How about a constant contributor to the clan wars teams? If I am online and there is a clan war open, I will be in it.

I liked him from the moment I read his thread.
I tried to get him in SSGS, but BT is a far better choice right now for him. Goodluck. I hope you're accepted!

Aww, thank you Smile

Like I said on my WoT forum, I am no unicum,

There are a lot of stuff they tend to do that I am not too fond of

1. Most use premium rounds, I mean let's face it.
2. A lot prefer to use top of the tier tanks.
3. Always always in platoon of similar colors.
4. Playing at around 60 fps.

I loved the game from back when I played on RU and I guess I retained my play style. I seldom shoot gold, but always in cw. I played about 1k battles out of 12k in platoons, and now that's the only way I play. Although, I like platoons more as social vehicles where I can chat to some wiser guys with "real-life" experience. Most of them are orange or yellow though ;/

As well as FPS goes, I get about 16-22, some maps a bad 9 in bushes.

Stats really aren't the reason people should be judged, some are rerolls and some wasted a lot of potential playing stock worst tier for tier tanks. If I can't get into BT because of that, it's fine. I am no cry-baby. There are plenty of purples out there that would probably make wiser decisions, but I can still watch your six just as good Smile

Nope, sorry.

SSGS is not a bad clan, far from it, but I have been in too many clans recently where I had to teach and learned nothing in return

I am looking for something similar to RUS or better and BT has slightly less averages, with plenty of people I can play and learn from where the SSGS would actually be an almost 400 eff downgrade

I don't want to be the guy that is in the top 10 efficiency of the clan and the top 30% WN8. A lot may prefer it to seem cool when you perform better than most, but I want to learn and adapt to strategies that people play at with higher performances.

Like the saying goes, don't sit idly on the bank while the fish swims by, but take the opportunity and do something about it

WoT is a big game and BT is not the only clan out there. Every clan has the nice people you can sit with and chat the time away and it's nice, but this time around I want clan wars, clan wars, clan wars. Losing is not my thing either. I have a tier ten, I have gold, and I want to win! Only thing better than seeing all those CW victories when you log in is knowing you were in one and you helped make that happen.

You got to realize that when recruiting, you can't sum up somebody's last 5-20k battles. Just doesn't happen, same with the tiers and tanks they like to play.

For example:

In the clan I recently left: RUNEX, the members are mostly yellow, but...

The only yellow I can play with, is my friend expresscraft for whom I am trying to find a clan in the Friend In Need of a Competetive & Active Clan forum post.

I find it disapointing that no large, active, cw clans are replying just because of his stats.

I played with him a lot and he can do well now, but he still plays those crappy old fashioned tanks that nobody touches now.

However, every other person I platooned with in RUNE is consistently bottom 5 players on the scoreboard

It gets frustrating and they don't listen

Thus, I want a clan I can call home where I can relax and be among players that are always there for you and you can pick up new and better habits from. I don't want to be the top 30%.

I could have explained it better than just contradicting myself, I am aware.

Yea, I will look into that tonight.

Got some stuff to take care of right now.

I'm the brother that has the responsibility of a Dad pretty much, hah

I'll be platooning with my friend tonight once he finishes repairing them damn F-15s and we'll both hop on, might interest him as well Wink

nbmjhk6 wrote:-1 for making fun of SSGS...

Do explain.

Is SSGS bad? No. Do I hate it? No. Will I decline a platoon invitation from their members? No.

Simply put, I am looking for a highly active CW clan. BT took top 10, while SSGS got 0 victory points. That right there turns me off.

I was away most of first campaign even though we got 1st place and 2nd campaign I was too busy playing with people who didn't share my passion for teamwork or asked me to sit long hours in front of team viewer fixing their computers and setting up mods.

I don't mind, but I really want some free time to do what I want to do. Most of my life I do things for others, but when do I get time for myself?

Did they ask me that I wanted to serve? No. Did they give me a choice not to jump off planes? No, they forced me.

I got the push through and persevere mentality ever since I left the territory of the most messed up but the so called greatest nation, the Soviet Union.

I never intended to apply for BT, I simply saw them at the top and said, "Oh they seem like a bunch of coordinated guys that make a promise and keep it". My main focus was on RUS or SIMP though, until one of your members mentioned, "Hey you should join SSGS or BT, we got what you are looking for".

I stopped waiting for other people to get back to me and put my mind to something here and now. I looked into BT and it seemed like a cool place to get into and get involved.

You won't know me off the forum. You can read all that propaganda you call stereotypes and think you do, but until you go out and explore you will have no idea. I got no enemies on this game or forum nor do I intent to make one. Everyone that I ever played with will say that I am quite an enjoyable person to just mess around with and have fun.

Just for that quick jump to conclusion -1 for effort at a little modesty.

P.S. - As for the friend who I want to drag with me, he is also in search of a clan being close to blue eff on his first acc. after 5k battles and playing in the purple for the last 2 weeks. I know he won't make BT due to low number of tanks, but if he could at least make SSGS and later upgrade to play with me, would be worth the effort.

Little overreaction for a -1 no? It's a -1 it does not mean you are accepted, in fact it doesn't really mean anything except to take note of something wrong.

I am not overreacting at all. Nor am I worried or put off.

I am actually not even in a bad mood, just got that deep level of forum writing that makes me sound serious and depressed.

Blast that early English major! Got out of it in time! Hah!

I realize I came off wrong, but it doesn't mean people should automatically judge. I see it happen all too often and those people just annoy me.

If I hop on to TS to play, pretty promise to win a few battles? Smile))

Played like 15 games, got 4 wins. It was ridiculous. Not even tied game! Wipeouts!

In 15 games, ammo-racked 4 times, three times on obj 268 before I could even make 2 shots! That thing like never racks -___-

Anyone else having a bad, bad, bad 5x experience hah?
