Kelvin however is the only scale that can be used in Physics/Chemistry etc. 0K is absolute zero. Where particles don't even vibrate. We still haven't reached this level yet.

they've found places that come closei thiink they've made/found areas for under 30 kelvin

I'm sure 0.1K has been achieved. But it is theoretically impossible for 0K. I could explain why but I will be typing for about 5 minutes to try to explain it to you guys

I don't see why the Dutch should get special passes... they handle thier Kelvins same as everybody else.
Has anyone seen the pics? The ones of Gates dressed up? I was the dude draped in burlap LOL

reaching absolute zero (at least from my knowledge) would produce the effect similair, or the same as freezing time (literally) which is probobly why we have and probobly never will reach it.

.... i wanna see the giant sized freezer they used to try though

Temperature is the average kinetic energy of the bunch of particles that we are looking at. To have 0K, would imply there is no average kinetic energy in the particles we are looking at. This can only we achieved if say all particles were at 0 kinetic energy, or some have negative kinetic energy.

But negative kinetic energy is impossible, thus we must have to achieve 0 KE. This would mean we'd have to aim for a particle to have no movement whatsoever, no directional movement in any frame of reference (which is impossible) and no vibrational/ rotational movement.

But even at rest, all particles have vibrational and rotational movement. IF say we attacked this particles with photons to stop them, particles have rest mass energy. Thus it is impossible for us currently to reach 0K
